PDA (КПК) - класс портативных компьютерных устройств. В настоящее время основным представителем КПК являются смартфоны - телефоны с функциями КПК. На практике разделение на КПК и смартфоны достаточно условно и, по-видимому, определяется самим производителем.

Можно сказать, что сейчас КПК = смартфон и наоборот - смартфон = КПК.

Классический КПК

К таковым можно отнести Palm, и Sharp Zaurus, производство которых прекращено.

КПК Обычно оснащены сенсорным экраном, посредством которого производится управление. На русском языке эти устройства принято называть КПК (Карманный Персональный Компьютер).
