     National Journal of Police, VIII(1)).    There are many reasons why authorities with degrees conduct better general than authorities without degrees.  Research confirms that people who successfully accomplished lessons within the arts and sciences, primarily social sciences, possess a more well-rounded and tolerant perspective about several of the lessons of people the officials handle on a day-today basis. (See Lynch, G.W. Journal of Criminal Justice, 4.)    Obviously this results in less lawsuits, less man-hours shed in court, and fewer bodily incidents to arrest and policeman likewise.
